Encompassing the best of all of hip hop in 2012, Nas delivered one of the best album’s of the year with Life is Good. Most critics have said either Nas’ Life is Good or Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d. city should take on the “album of the year” title. Both have given the nod to each other for 2012’s best album.

After taking a four year hiatus, Nas returned in 2012 and does not plan on going away anytime soon. In actuality, Nas has been more visible early in 2013 than he has been in a long time. Two weeks ago, Nas even announced he was already back in the studio, working on another album.

While Nas may have already started on his next album, he is still forced to speak on his previous one. Life is Good is, though, considered to be a classic by almost everyone who had a chance to hear the album. But, Nas explained to MTV News that he would need to hear the album sometime in the future to determine this.
