Nas and Raekwon have been good friends for several years and have many memories. Among these memories was a time when they almost got into a shootout. During the mid-1990s, the two were riding around in Raekwon’s Acura and almost got into something.
Raekwon had taken Nas to meet with some white guys a few blocks away. When the rappers arrived to meet with the men, they had firearms. Due to their rising celebrity status, Raekwon and Nas also had firearms. The white guys cocked their guns back and they did, as well.
Recently, Nas discussed this in the third installment of their series, “Rich & Black Chronicles.” During the interview, Nas spoke of how they both pulled guns out. With a tense situation looming, the two rappers left the scene and no altercation occurred.
