With his tenth studio album, Life is Good, on the way, Nas has returned to the spotlight. Currently the talk of the town, Nas has held numerous interviews, recently speaking with CNN. Twenty years after he began his legendary career, Nas is just as relevant, if not more, than he was when he received his start.

One peak in Nas’ career came when he began feuding with Jay-Z. There was rumored tension between the two rappers for years. But, when Jay-Z dissed Nas, many felt his career was over. Ironically, the Jay-Z feud led to a strong comeback from Nas and several new albums which followed.

Despite making up with Jay-Z, initially signing to Def Jam under his leadership, their feud was intense. Nas’ planned set for Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2002 included a lynching of Jay-Z. Footage from this show recently leaked to the internet and MTV News recently sat Nas down to ask him about the situation, which he declined to.
