Nas has just released his new “Magic” album, which marks his second album of 2021. Back in August, the hip-hop legend put out his “King’s Disease 2” album. Now, Nas is already planning for his next studio album.
On the song “Ugly” from the “Magic album, Nas says “KD3 on the way, this just to feed the buzz.” The Queens native has been extremely consistent over the past year and a half, as he also put out “King’s Disease” in 2020. That was a number one album in the US, and went on to receive the Grammy for Best Rap Album, earlier this spring.
Nas’ new “Magic” album contains nine new songs, with appearances from A$AP Rocky and DJ Premier. They were both featured on “Wave Gods.”
Nas is also Grammy-nominated for 2022. He has two nominations, for Best Rap Album and Best Rap song. These are for his “King’s Disease 2” album, as well as his feature on the late DMX’s “Bath Salts” song, which also included Jay Z.
