Muni Long’s “Hrs & Hrs” goes platinum.
In November 2021, Muni Long started to become one of the biggest names in R&B. Her “Hrs & Hrs” single began to really take off on social media, as it appeared on her “Public Displays Of Affection” EP. That project was dominated by Hrs & Hrs, and as it contained eight tracks, along with an appearance by Ann Marie.
Now, Hrs & Hrs has reached a new milestone, after going gold last month. It is now certified platinum in the US, according to Chart Data. This is after selling over 1 million units. Currently, Hrs & Hrs is still dominating at number 24, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
This is amazing news for Muni, as on Thursday, she has to break news to her fans that her “One Night Only” Tour got canceled. The R&B star cited “unforeseen circumstances” as the reasoning for this. Tickets ended up being refunded, as Muni added that rescheduled dates are currently being worked on. She is also “healing up,” and will be “back and bigger than ever.” The tour was initially set to kick off in Dallas on April 20, and conclude on June 4/5, at The Roots Picnic Festival, in Philadelphia.
