By The Hip Hop Writer

With Chicago taking the rap game back over, King L is making major moves. Kanye West shouting him out on the G.O.O.D. Music remix of “I Don’t Like” was a major opportunity for King L. Being one of the many new Chicago rappers in the game, King L managed to stick out among the other artists.

King L, sometimes known as King Louie, represents the Drill music faction of the hip hop scene in Chicago. Some have said Drill music is Chicago’s answer to Atlanta’s Trap music. As he continues to release more music, King L is becoming the leader of this new element of hip hop music.

MTV’s “Mixtape Daily” caught up with King L and he discussed his new mixtape. Introducing his new mixtape, King L also previewed two new cuts off the project. King L plans to release the Drilluminati mixtape later this month. Until then, expect more new cuts off the project.
