One thing this series hasn’t lacked is entertainment, as the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat have made this a series worth watching. Of course, playing in a bubble, and the Finals being in October has had a negative impact on the ratings. It’s not like the players care.
All season long, the Lakers have been favored to make the NBA Finals, and it looked like they’d have a showdown with the Clippers to get there. That didn’t happen, as it looked like Giannis’ Bucks would represent the East. Jimmy Butler’s Heat ended that dream, easily.
Game 4 of the 2020 NBA Finals, despite that storyline, is seeing the battle between Markieff Morris and Jae Crowder take center stage. Two hustle players, nuisances to other teams, and fans, Crowder came into Morris’ huddle, leading to a light shove, and Twitter was here for it. They called this the fight they didn’t know they needed.
