Moneybagg Yo is on fire right now as he has the number one album in the country with his fourth studio album, “A Gangsta’s Pain.” This project was released last week and is now set to top the Billboard 200 chart with 111,000 units sold in its first week. This album was led by hit such as “Time Today” and “Hard For The Next” feat. Future.
Now, the Memphis rapper has revealed some unfortunate news regarding his mother’s health. He took to Twitter to say that she currently has COVID-19 along with pneumonia. Moneybagg has since asked his supporters for prayers during this very difficult time.
“Dam mane how df My mama got COVID and pneumonia,” said Moneybagg on Twitter. Smh I need y’all prayers right now.”
On Moneybagg’s Twitter feed, he also expressed the desire to work with Ariana Grande. The CMG artist has definitely been pulling in big numbers and at this point, he should have the credentials to get this Ariana collab. Ariana does well with rapper collabs as over the last two years, she’s scored huge hits with 2 Chainz and Megan Thee Stallion. Right now, the only way is up for Moneybagg and hopefully, he is able to get through this situation with his mother as her health is able to improve.
