Moneybagg Yo Reflects on Making $1,000 Per Show To Six Figures

By Yuriy Andriyashchuk Staff Writer

Moneybagg Yo has been one of the hottest artists in the game over the past four years. He ended up signing to fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti’s CMG record from and from there, the only way was up.

Moneybagg has since released three studio albums with his latest one being his ‘Time Served’ project that dropped in January. It was led by the singles “U Played” featuring Lil Baby, “All Dat” feat. Megan Thee Stallion, and “123” feat. fellow CMG rapper, Blac Youngsta. His stardom continues to increase but right now, he can’t do any shows due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Nonetheless, Moneybagg is still grateful for the success he’s been experiencing as he took to Instagram to reminisce on when he started out making $1,000 per show. Now, it’s supposedly I’m the six-figure range. He showed an IG DM he received from January 2016 as a fan asked if he’d be selling any Federal shirts because they wanted one for their birthday.

Time Served went on to debut at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. Moneybagg Yo definitely has a lot to be proud of and reflect on. Hopefully, he can get back to performing along with other artists sooner than we think.
