Moneybagg Yo has had an amazing 2021 for himself, as he’s had several hit singles, along with a number one album, in “A Gangsta’s Pain.” This project was initially released in April, and was headlined by singles such as “Hard For The Next” feat. Future, and “GO!” feat. BIG 30.

A Gangsta’s Pain has been the top-selling rap album of 2021, and that is still the case at this point. According to Hits Daily Double, this project has sold 777,000 units to date. The number two spot is held by J. Cole’s “The Off-Season,” with 723,000 units. The third position is owned by Pooh Shiesty’s “Shiesty Season,” with 712,000 units.

A Gangsta’s Pain contained 22 tracks in total, with additional appearances from Jhené Aiko, Pharrell, Polo G, Lil Durk, Future, Kaash Paige, and Tripstar. This album is also certified gold in the US. “Wockesha” has arguably been the biggest record from A Gangsta’s Pain, as it wasn’t even initially a lead single.
