A legend on the Oakland hip hop scene is Mistah F.A.B. and he talked to Hip Hop Vibe last year, during our Oakland Week celebration. Since then, Mistah F.A.B. has continued to be a huge presence in the game. Last month, Mistah F.A.B. found himself in the middle of a situation with YG and DJ Mustard.
Before this, there were reports of several Bay Area hip hop figures being upset with the emerging DJ Mustard over his sound. Because of his adaptation of the deep bass, some accused him of stealing the Bay Area sound. Immediately after this, there was an altercation with Mistah F.A.B. and DJ Mustard involved in Oakland.
Mistah F.A.B. recently visited “Sway In The Morning” at Shade 45 and he killed the “5 Fingers of Death” freestyle. Along the way, he called out Arsonal and did an interview speaking on his situation. He spoke on battle rappers, what happened with DJ Mustard, and much more.
