It’s been two years since Mike WiLL Made It broke through and he has come out with nothing but hits. Starting in 2011 with Meek Mill’s “Tupac Back,” Mike WiLL made himself into a force in the production realm. He entered at a time when the competition was slim and he took the game over.
Coming into 2012, Mike WiLL produced all the biggest hits of the summer, but it paled in comparison to his 2013. This year, Mike WiLL was producing from everybody, starting his year out with Ace Hood’s “Bugatti.” However, Mike WiLL made bigger noise for producing Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop” and Jay-Z’s “Beach is Better.”
The 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards recognized Mike WiLL for his efforts and they crowned him in his hometown. Mike WiLL was nominated alongside J. Cole, Pharrell, and many more for ‘Best Producer.’ In the end, Mike WiLL took home the distinction, as he had a major year.
