Back in 2013, Migos came out of nowhere and made a space for themselves in the game. They dropped the single, “Versace,” and it went onto have viral success. While the song was blowing up, Drake jumped on it, giving it commercial appeal.
Migos saw their popularity peak and soon they had a deal with Atlantic Records. The trio belongs to the 300 Entertainment roster, which is also home to Fetty Wap. On the roster for two years, Migos finally have a release date for their album.
Late in 2014, Migos revealed they were working on their debut album. The album was to continue their mixtape series, YRN, thus YRN: Tha Album was born. This afternoon, Migos released the cover for the album and revealed the July 31 release date on Twitter.
