Most regard Michael Jordan as the greatest NBA basketball player of all-time. Over time, Kobe Bryant became regarded by most as the second-greatest NBA player of all-time. A lot of players were considered the “next” MJ, but Kobe was the only one to come close.
Tragically, Kobe Bryant died, in 2020, along with his daughter, Gianna, and seven other people. They were traveling to a basketball game, where Kobe was coaching and Gianna was playing. The seven other people were also a part of the team.
Michael Jordan gave a tearful speech, during Kobe Bryant’s funeral. During his speech, Jordan broke down crying, as he called Bryant his “little brother.” This afternoon, it was announced that Michael Jordan will be inducting Kobe Bryant into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, posthumously.
