Metro Boomin defends Young Thug, Gunna, and YSL, by claiming that YSL isn’t a gang, and is a registered LLC; Also thinks Thug is an “iconic Black leader”

Metro Boomin says Young Thug and YSL aren’t gang members

Young Thug and Gunna being part of a 56-count indictment on charges of RICO, murders, criminal street gang activity, and more, has been the biggest story in hip-hop this week. 26 other individuals were indicted as well, who are part of Thug and Gunna’s YSL record label/gang.

Many members of YSL are facing life in prison for their crimes, as Thug and Gunna could possibly be in that situation, as well. But, many rappers are defending the two Atlanta rappers, as well as producer Metro Boomin.

Today on Twitter, Metro claimed that YSL isn’t a gang, and is actually just a registered LLC. He also added that Thug and YSL have helped many underprivileged Black people. However, Also, Metro made the claim that Thug is an “iconic Black leader,” with so much influence, respect, power, and appeal.

“YSL is not a gang and never been a gang fool,” said Metro to a fan. YSL is a registered LLC and has provided countless jobs and opportunities for underprivileged black people and really just all people cause that’s how big Thug heart is.

They get terrified every time an iconic black leader emerges with so much influence, respect, power, and appeal so they throw some bullshit charges together to lock him up and slow the movement down. Look at American history it’s been a pattern for 100+ years.“

Thug has worked with Thug and Gunna on plenty of records, over the past five years. This includes many of their collab songs with Future. It definitely now sounds that Metro wants Thug around, and not to let more success with him go down the train, in the midst of this massive indictment.
