Megan Thee Stallion’s 2020 “Savage” Remix, Featuring Beyoncé, Hits 5x Platinum Status

Last year, Megan Thee Stallion had an epic year as usual. She had one of the biggest records out as well, which was her “Savage” remix featuring fellow Houston legend, Beyoncé. That collab soon hit the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, two weeks after its release.

The original version for Savage appeared on Megan’s “Suga” EP that March, and once the remix arrived in late April, fans were ecstatic to finally see her and Bey finally put out their long-awaited collab. This is after they were seen in new photos on New Year’s Day in January 2020, which also included Bey’s daughter, Blue.

Now, Savage remix has reached another impressive milestone. According to Chart Data, it has now sold over 5 million units in the US. This makes it eligible for 5x platinum certification.

This past March, Savage remix won big again, at the Grammys. It took home the awards for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance. This is all while Megan won the Best New Artist award that night as well.
