Megan Thee Stallion’s 2020 Debut Studio Album, “Good News,” Goes Platinum

Megan Thee Stallion had a hell of a 2020, as she had her first number one single in “Savage” remix feat. Beyoncé. The original record appeared on her “Suga” EP. Then, in the fall, she appeared on the top of the charts again on Cardi B’s “WAP” single. the H-Town hottie’s debut album, “Good News,” soon arrived, in November.

This “Good News” album hit the number two position on the Billboard 200 chart, and was an immediate fan favorite. It was led by hits such as Savage remix, “Body,” “Cry Baby,” feat. DaBaby, “Don’t Stop” feat. Young Thug, snd “Movie” feat. Lil Durk.

Good News is now platinum in the US as well. This is after selling 1 million units. Many believed that this project’s title would be the case, after Megan said she had “good news” coming that week, in November.

Many believed that a Good News deluxe edition would arrive after Megan’s April-May hiatus, but that didn’t end up happening. In the meantime though, she’s on fire with her new “Thot Sh*t” single.
