Megan Thee Stallion Wins Three Awards Out Of Her Four Nominations at 2021 GRAMMYs

The 63rd annual GRAMMYs just wrapped up from Los Angeles. Megan Thee Stallion came into the night setting herself up with a lot of wins as she had four nominations. These were for Best New Artist, Best Record, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance. The song nominations are all for her 2020 hit single, “Savage” remix, featuring Beyoncé.

The Houston superstar ended up taking home the Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song categories. Megan was presented the Best New Artist award by Lizzo as she was visibly emotional. For Best Rap Song, Beyoncé joined Megan on stage outside of Staples Center as the two basked in another huge win together, especially as Houston natives.

Megan almost won Best Record as well but that went to Billie Eilish at the end of the night for her “Everything I Wanted” single. Nonetheless, Megan still scored three wins tonight and continues to show why she’s one of the hottest artists in the world.

Savage remix also appeared on Megan’s 2020 debut studio album, “Good News.” That project ended up debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart an is at platinum status now. Expect Good News to be Grammy-nominated next year as well.
