Megan Thee Stallion Says Upcoming Album Will Be “Aggressive,” “Very Well Thought Out,” and Will Feature Her Flows From Her Come-Up

Megan Thee Stallion has had a huge 2021, as she’s won three Grammys, as well has having another hit single in “Thot Sh*t.” The Houston superstar took a hiatus from late April to early June, and then quickly took off with the Thot Sh*it single, as the video for it went viral as well.

Megan also saw much success last fall, with the release of her debut studio album, “Good News.” That became the number two album in the US, and is platinum at this point. It was led by hits such as “Savage” remix feat. Beyoncé, “Body,” “Cry Baby” feat. DaBaby, and more.

Now, Megan is working on her sophomore album, and explained what fans can expect out of it, in her September/October issue for Essence. She explained that this project will have the feeling of her being “aggressive” as well as “thought out” and getting back to the Megan that was on the rise.

“I feel like [my new album] will be aggressive,” Megan explained. “I feel like this project is definitely something very well thought out. This project is me talking my sh*t, getting back comfortable with myself, getting back to the Megan that was on the come-up.”

With this upcoming project, it definitely has the potential to be Megan’s first number one, especially after the success of Good News. Her Essence cover story will be available at newsstands on August 24.
