The past two years have seen Megan Thee Stallion become one of the biggest artists in the game. In 2018, she silently began her run, before taking 2019 over. It’s hilarious that 2019 predictions saw further Nicki Minaj/Cardi B battles.
Megan Thee Stallion quickly became the center of that battle, making hit records with both ladies. But, in 2020, she was embroiled in her own controversy. Whatever happened with her and Tory Lanez remains a mystery.
Ultimately, Megan Thee Stallion filed criminal charges, against Tory Lanez, leading to him being cancelled. His cancellation was short-lived and Tory Lanez said he would be vindicated. Not going that far, but the Los Angeles Superior Court’s website has no upcoming court dates with either rapper involved, indicating that the charges have been dropped.
