Megan Thee Stallion calls out 1501 Certified Entertainment
Megan Thee Stallion has been signed to 1501 Certified Entertainment, since she was 20. In March 2020 though, she revealed that the label wouldn’t let her release any new music, and she ended up having to get a court order, to do so. The following week, Megan put out her highly successful “Suga” EP.
Now, Megan is going at it with 1501 again, on Instagram. The CEO, Carl Crawford, who is also a former MLB All-Star, took to his Instagram feed, to post an article about how Megan supposedly filed a request to dismiss her lawsuit against 1501 and J. Prince, without prejudice
“Only the real 🤘🏾town can relate,” said Crawford. “Now tell em to run my bread dating all the way back from 2018.🤬”
Megan is now clapping back, as she emphasized that she is still in fact, battling 1501 in court. She also revealed that she hasn’t been paid, while signed to the Houston-based record label, at all. The article Crawford posted was also supposedly from when he didn’t let Megan release music, not recently.
“This dude never know wtf is going on with his business. The case that Was dismissed against you was from when you wasn’t trying to let me drop music … you and 300 signed off and let me drop music so there is no case no more… we are most definitely STILL IN COURT and YOU STILL GETTING SUED BC YOU OWE ME MONEY!!! I AINT NEVER BEEN PAID FROM 1501 IN MY LIFE ! I make money bc im MEGAN THEE STALLION !
