Before he was given the freedom to dominate the game with his Dreams and Nightmares album, Meek Mill released several mixtapes. Due to his inability to get an album scheduled, these mixtapes eventually became his albums. Meek Mill eventually caught the attention of Rick Ross and joined Maybach Music.
Signing to a major label did not change Meek Mill’s work ethic, however. Instead, it determined Meek Mill to only grind harder. Upon signing to Maybach Music, Meek Mill delivered one of 2011’s best albums with his Dreamchasers mixtape. The project did well enough for Meek Mill to drop a sequel that launched his album.
Meek Mill watched the game change since releasing his “Amen” single with Drake and the moving forward. There has been no news on another Meek Mill album, but this does not mean he will not be working. Early this year, Meek Mill announced Dreamchasers 3 and he revealed an April release and talked about a Wale collaboration with MTV News.
