At first glance, Wale and Meek Mill are nothing alike. However, if you look at their journey to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music, they are almost identical. With several comparisons that can be made, Meek Mill gave them something else to share. Last summer, Meek Mill signed a management deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.
In 2012, Wale continued promoting his Ambition album. Along with continuing the promotion of his album, Wale played a background role in 2012. Meanwhile, Meek Mill became the focus of Maybach Music. Now, Wale has returned and Meek Mill is now a bigger star than he is.
While on the red carpet for the Grammys in Los Angeles, Wale and Meek Mill talked about their upcoming work. Wale has a new album in the works, with No I.D. contributing it. Meanwhile, Meek Mill said “Believe It” with Rick Ross is the next Dreams and Nightmares single and he and Wale have a summer mixtape planned.
