Meek Mill hints at new album coming in March

Meek Mill says album is coming in March

In October, Meek Mill finally released his first album in four years, “Expensive Pain.” This project received plenty of love from fans, as it went on to debut at number three, on the Billboard 200 chart. It was led by singles such as “Flamerz Flow,” “Sharing Locations,” ft. Lil Durk and Lil Baby, and “Blue Notes 2,” ft. Lil Uzi Vert.

Now, it appears that Meek Mill is preparing for his sixth studio album this year, as well. In a recent Q&A on Twitter, a fan asked Meek, when he will be releasing an album again. The Philly rapper soon responded “March we got something special coming.”

It’s unclear if this will actually be a new album, or simply a new single. Either way, new music coming soon from Meek is definitely great news. Meek has since revealed that he’s been in a bad contract situation with Atlantic Records. He plans to release new music, as soon as this situation gets better for him. Meek even went as far as calling it a “slave deal.”

In addition to wanting to cut ties with Atlantic, Meek also revealed that he parted ways from his Puma endorsement deal. At the same time though, he applauded Puma for what they’ve been able to do together, since 2012.

“Did great business with puma but I am not with puma anymore! Moving on to new things they did me well while it lasted! I was one of the first artist to get big sponsorship with them in 2012 we made some good moves but it’s on to the next now! Thankyou.”
