This year’s SXSW was bigger than all of the previous festivities, but this year also saw much more violence. More rappers than ever were present and had sets. Violence was also more present than it was in the past, as several fights broke out, and even a shooting.
Maxo Kream was among the artists booked for SXSW, as was Skeme. It turns out, these are not the two artists to book for the same set. After the two did their performances, they decided they would give fans another show, a fight.
Following their SXSW performance, Maxo Kream and Skeme got into a brawl. Many were wondering why the two came to blows, as they never had any prior association. But, it turns out, some close to the situation believe the two having rival gang affiliation led to the disagreement.
