Even though Matt Barnes spent fifteen years in the NBA, most didn’t come to know him, until 2010. This was when he was playing for the Orlando Magic and was tasked with guarding Kobe Bryant. During that game, Matt Barnes made Kobe SUFFER, the entire night.

Matt Barnes made himself into a household name, following that game against the Lakers. The following season, Matt Barnes found himself playing alongside Kobe, with the Lakers. Since then, Matt Barnes played for the Clippers, Warriors, and Grizzlies, winning a title with GS.

This afternoon, Matt Barnes posted the above photo on Instagram, where he announced his retirement. Citing fifteen years in the NBA, he has decided to retire. Now, he is focusing in on his business ventures, according to his IG caption.
