Long before being independent was the cool thing, Master P was doing that. This man came into the hip hop industry with a plan and he executed it, being the richest rapper of his time. Two decades later, the world is now trying to catch up to his moves.
Damon Dash is the most-vocal hip hop industry figure talking about independence. His rhetoric has led to much backlash and a lot of jokes, but all he’s talking about is what Master P did. Over the past seven years, Master P has been back going strong, even back in movies.
Following the success of I Got The Hook Up 2, Master P is hard at work on another movie. The biopic and documentary are still being worked on, but Master P was at 99 Jamz, in Miami, when he made another announcement. Talking with Supa Cindy and DJ Entice, P said he is working on an all-female movie with the women in hip hop.
