In the face of panic, the real leaders step up, while others only worry about the problems. Well over twenty years ago, Mark Cuban purchased the Dallas Mavericks. Back then, the Mavericks were one of the NBA’s worst teams.
Mark Cuban dedicated all of his resources into turning the Mavericks into contenders. Not only have the Mavericks been a success on the court, they have been financial winners. Constantly, the Mavericks are among the NBA’s most-valuable franchises.
Yesterday, the NBA announced they were suspending their season until further notice. This was the best decision to protect the fans, the NBA’s biggest consumers. So, Mark Cuban has announced he’s coming up with a plan to keep his Mavericks employees paid, throughout this suspension.
