Marcus Morris slanders Jae Crowder after huge Knicks-Grizzlies fight; Goes full misogynist stating Crower is soft and and has “female-tendencies”; Internet drags him accordingly and he later apologizes

After the heated game between the Knicks and Grizzlies, more drama ensued after a Knicks player opened his mouth.

As the game was ending, with the Grizzlies up 18, Grizzlies player Jae Crowder went up for a 3 point shot. This did not sit well with Knicks’ guard, Elfrid Payton. He proceeded to knock Crowder to the ground.

That is what led to big brawl many have now seen. Following the crazy end to that game, reporters caught up with Marcus Morris who had some choice words when describing Jae Crowder.

Morris gave Crowder all of the slander, calling him soft and woman-like. He went on a mini-rant, likening Crowder’s supposed style of ball as being emasculating and less of a man. In the age of hyper awareness, when it comes to language regard gender roles, Morris’ comments did not go over so well. He got immediately slammed and labeled a misogynist as fans and sports pundits called his words and rhetoric sexist. Morris interpreted Crowder ‘being weak’ as him being a woman. Also, in just the last couple of days where players and fans have been celebrating what Kobe Bryant was trying to do for women’s basketball, this definitely wasn’t a good look.
