These past few years have seen BET really dominating with their original programming. In both their scripted and unscripted programming, BET has put out some incredible shows. The year of 2017 has been the best in network history.
BET started out with “The New Edition Story,” bringing Yazz onto the network for a week. Later in the year, “Tales” debuted, which has had the likes of Lance Gross, Elise Neal, Tammy Rivera, MC Lyte, and more starring. Then, Deon Cole also has his own show on the network.
With that, BET hasn’t forgotten about the ones that were “shootin’ in the gym,” so Jeff Johnson returns. With his “Man Cave” series, Johnson teamed up with Steve Harvey for the executive producer. Now, the series has a premiere date, January 18.
