Regardless of how people may feel about them, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian may be right about Kanye’s impact on the game. In 2012, Kanye rapped about how his Yeezys were outselling Jordans on Cruel Summer. By 2013, Kanye West was screaming at Sway about his growing business as a shoe proprietor.

Once Kanye West decided to end his run with Nike, Adidas offered him $10 million upfront to join their team. Although the next Kanye West sneaker will be released with Adidas, he still owed Nike. The Red October for the Yeezy 2 he was ranting about recently was released.

There was one Chicago man who decided to sell his 2005 Honda Accord so he could afford the shoes. The shoes ran up to $16 million in some bids online, but the Chicago man, Michael Forest, won this particular bid with $4,200. Michael Forest’s son, Wade Forest, spoke out about his father, saying “I fucking hate my dad,” his daughter said she has no idea how she will make it to school, the wife simply cried.
