Madonna says Tory Lanez illegally used her 1985 song, “Into The Groove,” on “Pluto’s Last Comet”

A week and a half ago, Tory Lanez released his 80s-style album, “Alone At Prom.” Fans were impressed by the Toronto rapper’s versatility again, as this project was led by singles such as “‘87 Stingray” and “Lady Of Namek.”

Now, it looks like Tory may be running into some legal issues, regarding one of the songs on Alone At Prom. This involves the song “Pluto’s Last Comet.” Legendary singer, Madonna, has slid into Tory’s Instagram comments, to say that he illegally used one of her songs, on this one.

Madonna is referring to her song, “Get Into The Groove.” She initially commented “Read your messages for illegal usage of my song “Into The Groove!” From the sound of it, Madonna also let Tory know about this problem, in his Instagram DMs.

Into The Groove was initially released back in 1985, and appeared in the film, “Desperately Seeking Susan.” It was also placed onto the rerelease of Madonna’s 1994 “Like A Virgin” album.
