Fans received a glimpse of Machine Gun Kelly, when he first signed with Bad Boy Records and released his “STFU (Shut the Fuck Up)” track. Already buzzing, or “raging,” as he calls it, in Cleveland, Machine Gun Kelly was ready to shine. Late in 2011, his “Wild Boy” single with Waka Flocka Flame was released.

Coming into 2012, “Wild Boy” became a hit during the spring and it built the buzz for the Machine Gun Kelly debut, Lace Up. Released back in October, Machine Gun Kelly turned heads with “D3mons,” featuring DMX. Given their admiration of each other, many have compared Machine Gun Kelly to DMX.

During his interview with Montreality, Machine Gun Kelly talked about the possibility of collaborating with people in other genres. Machine Gun Kelly would also discuss how the media treats DMX. As is the case with most white rappers, Machine Gun Kelly talked about the possibility of working with Eminem.
