During Bad Boy Records’ first run, the label was known for boasting talent in their home base of New York City. Bad Boy was home to, of course, The Notorious B.I.G., Mase, and Shyne, among others. Back in the mid-200s, Bad Boy South had minor success through the Atlanta rapper, Yung Joc.

The new era in Bad Boy Records’ history is called Bad Boy 2.0. Now, the label boasts artists from New York City, French Montana, the DMV, Los, and Cleveland, in their major breakout star, Machine Gun Kelly. Out of this new movement, Machine Gun Kelly was the first artist to release an album.

Machine Gun Kelly has continued releasing new music in the time since the release of his debut, Lace Up. Next up from Machine Gun Kelly is Black Flag. The new mixtape is coming sooner rather than later. Earlier today, Machine Gun Kelly released the official cover for Black Flag.
