Late in 2012, Mac Miller announced he was working on his sophomore album. At the time, there was a lot going on with Mac Miller. MTV was in negotiations with the Pittsburgh emcee for his reality show, “Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family.” Mac Miller revealed the title of his sophomore album to be Watching Movies with the Sound Off.

Back in March, Mac Miller announced the first single off the album, “S.D.S. (Somebody Do Something).” Released to much media attention, Mac Miller has been rather silent since then, but returned yesterday with his Showtime mixtape. Using the mixtape as the launch, Mac Miller is turning the focus back on his album.

This morning, Mac Miller took to his Twitter to announce a couple of his new projects that are in the works. Following up from the “S.D.S.” announcement, Mac Miller is now preparing the official release of the song. On Tuesday, April 23, Mac Miller will release the single and the music video will come the next day.
