Mac Miller is fresh off the release of his Macadelic mixtape, which is already receiving a high number of downloads. In a short period of time, Mac Miller has become one of the most-notable rappers in the game. His new mixtape features a number of hip hop veterans and mainstays.
Among the people Mac Miller has worked with include Lil Wayne. The two rappers came together for his track, “The Question.” Mac Miller rose to become one of the biggest names through his mixtapes. Although an established artist, Lil Wayne became one of the top rappers in the game the same way.
Following the release of Macadelic, Mac Miller spoke with XXL about how the collaboration with Lil Wayne came to be. While recording to track, Mac Miller said he wanted Lil Wayne on the track. Already having a strong relationship with Lil Wayne’s partner, Mack Maine, Miller discussed the partnership and Karen Civil convinced Young Money to allow it.
