Among the biggest independent rappers in the game is Mac Miller, who topped the charts on Billboard with his debut album. When he began working on his sophomore album, Mac Miller began holding meets with MTV. Two years ago, MTV2 was relaunched with a bigger focus on hip hop programming.
At the end of last year, there were reports of Mac Miller landing his own reality show that would air on MTV2. Early in 2013, MTV2 announced Mac Miller would star in his own series, “Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family.” The show began airing in February and ended earlier this month.
Early this morning, MTV2 revealed they have given a second season to their high-profile reality series. The first season of the show was highly successful, as Mac Miller showed the lifestyle him and his friends live in Los Angeles. With the show renewed, Mac Miller revealed he had no idea what comes in the next season.
