Yesterday, Lupe Fiasco made his rounds, promoting his upcoming album, Food & Liquor II. After his intriguing discussion with Jenny Boom Bomm, Lupe Fiasco spoke to Hot 97. Calling into the station, Lupe Fiasco spoke to Funkmaster Flex about his recent adventures. In two months, Lupe plans to officially return with his new album.

Lupe Fiasco began promoting Food & Liquor II earlier this year. He officially returned in the spring with his single, “Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free).” The song sampled from Pete Rock, leading to the veteran calling Lupe Fiasco out. Behind the scenes, the two talked and resolved their issues, but Lupe Fiasco called Pete Rock out for announcing this.

During his interview with Funkmaster Flex, Lupe Fiasco spoke on his writing, as he has his own column for The Chicago Sun Times. Early in the interview, the discussion was on journalism, as Lupe analyzed both hip hop websites, magazines, and urban news magazines. From there, Lupe Fiasco also spoke on his issues with Pete Rock and his new album.
