Coming up is the twentieth anniversary of Love Jones, the classic movie that starred Larenz Tate and Nia Long. March 14, 2017 will be the twentieth anniversary and something big is planned. Instead of going the sequel route, a musical has been planned.
The Chicago love story is going on the road, starting on September 9 when it launches in Oklahoma City. There is also a new cast involved, with MC Lyte hosting the event. Musiq Soulchild, Chrisette Michele, Marsha Ambrosius, Dave Hollister, and Raheem DeVaugn are the cast.
