#LongLiveSnupe: Lil Snupe’s “RNIC (Revisited)” released today, “I’m That Nigga” open verse contest

Lil Snupe 4One of the most-promising artists in the game was Lil Snupe. He was signed to Meek Mill’s rising label, Dreamchasers Records. The label was on the rise and Lil Snupe was the focus of the label, hailing from Louisiana. Right when his career was picking up, Lil Snupe got shot and killed in his hometown.

Losing Lil Snupe is something the hip hop world will never get over, especially his label-mates at Dreamchasers Records. Last year, Lee Mazin talked to Hip Hop Vibe about the loss of the future star. Even though Lil Snupe is no longer physically here, he lives forever in his music.

Had things gone the way everyone planned, Lil Snupe would be alive and celebrating the release of his debut album. His new album, RNIC (Revisited), includes five new tracks and features from such artists as Yo Gotti and Trae Tha Truth. The proceeds from the album go to Lil Snupe’s foundation for mothers who have lost children to violence and fans can follow Lil Snupe on Facebook and Twitter to download the “I’m That Nigga” instrumental to possibly be featured on the official remix.
