Evidenced by all the viral music, Maryland is one of the biggest hip hop hot-spots, right now. But, Logic is the one who has had the most-success, from the state. Back in 2013, Logic seemingly came out of nowhere and signed with Def Jam.
In the five years, since then, Logic has had varying levels of success, but appeared to be on his way out. Two years ago, Logic indeed said he would soon retire from rapping. However, he remains here, and putting out well-received music.
Following the release of his last album, Logic renegotiated with Def Jam and came out a much wealthier man. When he initially signed, Logic signed a deal worth $200,000. In this new deal, Logic comes out of it with $30 million.
