Early in his career, 50 Cent made a smart move when he immediately gave his G-Unit rappers an imprint. On the heels of his success, 50 Cent helped Lloyd Banks become a big name. Many of his big name features, 50 Cent shared with G-Unit.

Lloyd Banks reaped the benefits, big time, and was one of 2004’s biggest breakout artists. Ultimately, Kanye West ended up being the most successful class of 2004 artist. But, Lloyd Banks consistently scored hits, but has faced rumors of leaving G-Unit since 2008.

Now, it appears as if Lloyd Banks has finally taken 50 Cent’s advice and done something on his own. Eight years after rumors began of him leaving G-Unit, Lloyd Banks is gone. He is now signed with Loveseat Records, which more than likely means he only left G-Unit Records, even though he and Game took a pic together.
