LL Cool J talks putting out new music and Def Jam with Power 106 [VIDEO]

LL Cool J Power 106No one word can be used to summarize LL Cool J and what he brings to the game. If one thing can be said, however, is that most people thought LL Cool J retired after the release of Exit 13. But, LL Cool J made it clear the “exit” was from Def Jam after releasing thirteen projects with the label.

LL Cool J is actually hot right now, preparing to release albums in consecutive years for the first time since 1990. Accomplishing a twenty-four year old feat, LL Cool J released Authentic in 2012 and G.O.A.T. 2 is coming this year. Last week, Hip Hop Vibe talked to LL Cool J about the G.O.A.T. 2 album.

Continuing his media rounds LL Cool J was in Los Angeles and paid a visit to their leading station, Power 106. LL Cool J received a proper warm welcome to the neighborhood, “Big Boy’s Neighborhood.” While he was there, LL Cool J talked about putting out new music, working with newer artists, and Def Jam.
