To look at how far hip hop has come, one doesn’t have to look far. Often, people look at the businessmen, such as Diddy, Russell Simmons, and Jay-Z, but LL Cool J is another one to pay attention to. More noted for using his personality than business acumen, LL Cool J remains a fixture.
Last summer, Hip Hop Vibe briefly had the chance to talk to LL Cool J about G.O.A.T. 2, his upcoming album. The chance to speak to LL Cool J was amazing, given the doors he’s opened and the accomplishments he continues to make. On top of it all, he is hosting the Grammys.
LL Cool J is hosting the Grammys for the fourth consecutive year, showing how far hip hop has come from being excluded from the television program to an emcee hosting. This morning, LL Cool J talked to CBS’ “The Talk” about hosting the Grammys. He went on to discuss “NCIS: LA” and much more.
