Some seemed tired of LL Cool J hosting the Grammys for the fourth straight time, but it is big for hip hop. There was a time when LL Cool J was viewed as “radical” and “dangerous,” but now the masses have accepted him. Not only is he one of the top emcees, he is a big actor.
LL Cool J has come a long way and there are many in the new generation who know him more for acting and hosting than music. When he talked to Hip Hop Vibe, LL Cool J said he hoped G.O.A.T. 2 would change this. Of course, he loves his position in the game, but LL is an emcee first.
Recently, LL Cool J talked to Forbes and they asked him about hosting the Grammys for the fourth straight time. In response to this, LL Cool J said him doing the Grammys never gets old. He also talked about G.O.A.T. 2 and what he intended to accomplish with this new LP, which is coming sometime later this year.
