In August, Lizzo released her first solo single since 2019, in “Rumors.” This also included a huge feature from Cardi B. The two saw immediate success, as Rumors debuted at number four, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Rumors is still a buzzing record, and now, has reached another huge milestone. According to Chart Data, it is now eligible for a gold RIAA certification, in the US. This is after selling over 500,000 units. On YouTube, Rumors has amassed over 34 million views.
With the release of Rumors, it is also speculated that Lizzo could be putting out her fourth studio album soon. Her previous one, was “Cuz I Luv You,” in the spring of 2019. That saw a number four debut, on the Billboard 200 chart.
