Lizzo To Release First Single Since 2019, “Rumors,” on August 13

Lizzo turned into one of the most popular music stars in the world in spring 2019, with the success of her breakout hit single, “Truth Hurts.” That was actually released in 2017, and finally got its due recognition. This happened in 2019 with her 2016 “Good As Hell” single as well, which ended up receiving a remix with Ariana Grande.

Now, Lizzo is finally back, after a two year hiatus. She just announced on her social media feeds that her “Rumors” single will be out on August 13. Lizzo made the announcement by saying “NEW ERA B*TCH. “RUMORS” 8/13.”

Fans have since roared into excitement, as it’s definitely been quite some time now since the world received new music from Lizzo. She put out her third studio album, “Cuz I Luv You,” in April 2019, and that debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 chart, and is platinum in the US. After that, fans patiently waited for new material from Lizzo and now, the return is on to close out summer 2021.
