Many music fans have been wondering when we will get concerts back after the coronavirus pandemic shut everything down in mid-March. A lot of people have speculated that we may not see concerts until 2021. Live Nation Entertainment Inc is now trying to give fans these shows back as soon as possible and the next one is closer than we think.
According to Yahoo! Finance, Live Nation will be cutting venue’s capacities by 80%. Fans will also he placed 2-12 seats apart in order to enforce social distancing. Temperatures will be checked prior to entering the venue and masks will be required to attend as well. The sanitation process for bathrooms will consist of using fog sprayers, being limited to 10 people at a time and contactless towel dispensers.
Travis McCready, who is a member of the country-rock band, Bishop Gunn, will be the first concert next week on May 15 as it will go down in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The venue holds 1,100 people but the decrease in capacity will make it 229 for this show. Hopefully, this goes well so we can bring back concerts worldwide.
