Lil Wayne has been making some noise as on Friday, he made his ‘Free Weezy Album‘ available on all streaming outlets. He also released his 13th studio album, ‘Funeral,’ in January which featured the hit single, “I Do It” feat. Big Sean and Lil Baby. The deluxe edition was also made available in May as it featured eight additional tracks with appearances from Doja Cat, Tory Lanez, Lil Uzi Vert, Benny The Butcher, and Jessie Reyez.

Funeral ended up debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and was another successful project in the legendary career of the Young Money CEO. Now, it appears that he may be ready to release another installment of his classic ‘Tha Carter‘ album series.

In a new interview with Variety, Wayne was asked which album in this series is his favorite one. He replied “My favorite Carter album is the next one. This immediately led fans to start speculating if we might actually get a sixth Tha Carter album. The fifth one was released in September of 2018 after years of delays due to label issues with Birdman at Cash Money Records. After settling this issue in court, Wayne is free to release music at any time so don’t be surprised if Tha Carter 6 arrives before 2020 is over.
