Until a couple of years ago, Lil Wayne was regarded as the number one rapper in the game. Not only did the fans know all about Lil Wayne’s music, they also knew what he loved. At the top of his list is sports and this puts the Lakers at the top of that list.
With the exception of the past couple of years, the Lakers have been among the top teams in the NBA. Injuries to Kobe Bryant and losing key players changed the team’s makeup. Recent years have seen the Lakers become a bottom-feeding team.
Recently, Lil Wayne stopped by ESPN’s “First Take” to talk with the trio of Cari Champion, Stephen A. Smith, and Skip Bayless. Most of their discussion centered around the NBA, giving Wayne the chance to discuss his favorite team. He spoke on Kobe Bryant, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Western Conference.
